I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with Facebook and Instagram after my accounts were suddenly blocked even though I had not knowingly violated any rules or done anything wrong. One day, I tried to access my accounts and discovered that I was unable to use them normally. There was little useful explanation about what I had supposedly done wrong, which made the situation even more stressful. I understand that platforms need rules and security measures, but users should be given a clear reason when their accounts are restricted and a fair opportunity to explain or appeal the decision. The biggest problem is the support process. When an account is disabled, Meta says users may be able to appeal the decision through the login process. However, getting a meaningful response or resolution can be extremely frustrating when the appeal process does not clearly explain what happened. I have spent time trying to understand the problem and recover access, but instead of receiving helpful customer support, I feel like I am going through an automated system with very limited options. Losing access to Facebook and Instagram can be a major problem because these accounts may contain years of photos, messages, contacts, business information, and personal memories. What makes this experience particularly upsetting is that I genuinely believe the block was a mistake. If an automated system incorrectly flags an account, there should be an easy way to request a proper human review. Users should not feel helpless when they know they have not intentionally violated the platform’s policies. Bottom line: Blocking an account without a clear explanation is frustrating enough, but having difficulty obtaining meaningful support afterward makes the situation much worse.

Complaint: Repeatedly Locked Out of My Facebook Account
I have been repeatedly locked out of my Facebook account, even though I have not violated any of Facebook's community standards or policies. Over the past two weeks, I have been asked to upload a copy of my driver's license several times to verify my identity. Having to go through this process over and over is extremely frustrating. I also tried contacting Facebook through the listed support phone number, but it only played a recorded message stating that phone support is unavailable. If phone assistance isn't offered, it's confusing why the number is still provided. I simply want reliable access to my Facebook account without having to verify my identity every day. Pros: A great platform for staying connected with old friends and reconnecting with family members. Cons: Repeated account lockouts, excessive identity verification requests, and lack of accessible customer support. Preferred Solution: I would like my account to remain accessible without being repeatedly locked out or required to submit my driver's license for verification every day.

This company seems far more focused on maximizing profits than supporting its users. Getting access to live support is practically impossible unless you pay for Meta Verified, and even after subscribing, the support experience is extremely disappointing. Instead of actually resolving issues, support agents simply direct you to submit a ticket yourself, with little to no communication afterward. There are no meaningful updates, no clear progress tracking, and ultimately the problem remains unresolved. As a business owner, not being able to run ads has had a significant negative impact on my operations. Paying extra for support that provides no real assistance feels like a complete waste of money. Overall, the customer service experience has been frustrating, ineffective, and far below expectations.
